Artist trays trial

Seeing my friends did their amazing artist trays makes me wanna try 'em out. I was kinda finding it difficult at first, but as I go by I find it quite interesting and fun to do. I'm not using the 7-Gypsies tray by the way, but a self-made artist tray instead made out of thick cardboards. The beauty of a self-made tray is you can size the trays as you like it.

I can say my first trial wasn't bad at all and it drives me to make another one not long after. I am very pleased myself with the result. Can't stop looking at it everyday which makes me a happy girl! aha...

Looooovvvveee the result!
I used Webster's Pages for the whole tray.
Don't you just love WPs!
Took me sometime to arrange & stick those alpha chipboards.

Did the second one for my wedding pics...
Love the result too!!!
I think I used Prima PPs for this tray.
Thanks for looking!

Its the official opening of creative works for 2011.

She bought the SB kit fom scrap-n-crop long time ago
and didn't know wat to do with it.
Hence she handed it to a not-that-creative person which is yours truly... aha...
Here's the outcome..

LO 1... Hasya's great memories

LO no.2... Our vacation memory
was nervous when i did the tearing technique
as that was the first time i tried the technique.
Fortunatly it turned out ok.... =)

Also did some altering stuff.
Saw this desktop calendar which i kept for so long in my office drawer.
Did this for Adam's and Irah's study desk.

Here's a lil creative work

Few weeks back one of the HS gals, Janiah, has initiated few '2 hours' online challenges on FB. There were six but I only managed to do ONE (what a shame!). BUT, I will finish the other five eventually, that's a promise =)

1. Make 1 LO using WP Papers Challenge - DONE
2. BasicGrey & Stamping Challenge in 2 hours
3. make a LO using your Prima Pattern Papers in 2 hours
4. PPs & Alphas swap Challenge during Canvas Tutorial
5. Make a background for a layout using strips of scrap pattern paper
6. make a layout WITHOUT using any pattern paper. Cut outs from pattern paper are allowed

Here's my take for challenge no. 1
. Finised this in less than an hour =)
Hope to post the other five down here soon...

challenge no.2 layout...

challenge no.3 layout...

challenge no.4 layout...

challenge no.5 layout...

challenge no.6 layout...

hehe....

Nonetheless, I've created a few photo frames during my maternity leave.
Just simple ones tho.

TFL! and have a great weekend peeps!

I'm Back

Hi peeps! Been away from blogging for a long long time. And in between the time when I went missing, I was pregnant to my 4th child. Anyways, i'm back now and here's introducing my new pride and joy...

I gave birth to a new baby boy on 17th September 2010 @4.12am. He was 2.73kg. Husband and I named him Muqtadir Syafi which mean 'powerful healer'.

Day one with big bro Adam

This is the latest pic I took last night... he is 2 and a half months now
I've got a few Layouts to share while I was away. Will upload on my next update.

TFL!!

I'm back.... updates! updates!

Been having trouble logging in to my blogger account. Just got it resolved today and here i am, back to update this blog.... First quarter of this year has been a hectic period. Nonetheless, the best thing about it was when I had my work trip to Tokyo and Osaka Japan in January for 2 weeks. We were representing Brunei to the HRD BIMP-EAGA program. It was a great trip, my first time to Japan.

Here's sharing with you some of my best pictures...

I like this place... there's rows and rows of this kind of bonsai trees along the road nearby the Imperial Palace... they call this place Bonsai Tree Care
This is our gang, the Brunei Team
during our presentation preparation... very fun lot! miss them!
on our 'graduation' day...

We didn't miss the chance to visit......
yeah.... Tokyo Disneyland!!

The star of Disneyland! There was a long Q to take picture with the star!
my favourite flower.....
I'm glad to be part of the Brunei delegates and it was a great experience for me.

Anyhoos... I haven't been scrapping since i got back from the last trip.. I have a new set of acrylic paints & gesso, untouched, waiting to be played with!! maybe after my next short break in April... yeah, I'm going for a short break to KK with my family... haven't been to KK for two years!!!! or is it longer than that.... ????? huhuhu can't wait!

Thanks for looking!!

FUN at the beach

Did an LO during the weekend. This LO was halfway done when it was stashed in the drawer a few months back. Mr Mojo wasn't around at that time so I had to pause the production for quite sometime. Thanks to the recent weekend online crop, it boosted up my mojo a lil bit and started to scrap this LO again.

I used some Autumn themed embellies I bought in the Phillipines and added some real sea shells. I'm quite pleased with the results I shud say.

Here's my take.
TFL!!

Weekend Online Crop @Brunei Scrappers Forum

Joined the weekend 24-26 Dec online crop with the HS ladies. So good to finish 6 LOs altogether in 1 week (allthough, we're suppose to finish them during the weekend itself).

The 6 LOs are based on the following outlines:
1. Nostalgic
2. Emotions
3. Red & Green
4. 2009
5. 5 things about me
6. Family

And here's my takes:

Had fun doing all these LOs. Definitely a mojo booster. And it's obvious my mojos are not consistent. heeeee..... TFL babes!
